Articles The Texas Law Review welcomes article and essay submissions from judges, academics, and practicing lawyers. We do not, however, accept submissions from current law students. The Texas Law Review accepts submissions via Scholastica only. We strongly prefer to receive electronic submissions that are uploaded as editable word documents (e.g., .doc or .docx rather than .pdf) with the word.
The King’s Student Law Review (KSLR) is a peer-reviewed academic publication run by researchers and post-graduate students based at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London. Michigan Law Review strongly prefers articles that make a concise argument. We have joined many of our peer journals in signing the joint statement on article length. We are seeking a varied collection of essays (30 published pages or less) and articles (approximately 30 to 50 published pages).
The Columbia Law Review Articles and Essays Committees have a strong preference for accepting pieces between 20,000 and 37,000 words (including footnotes). CLR Forum has a strong preference for pieces between 3,000 and 10,000 words (including footnotes) but will review longer pieces that meet our submissions criteria.
